Sass Bakes (formerly The Pretty Little Cake Co) is a small home bakery based in a tiny village in West Sussex.

Sass Bakes is owned and run by Emily with help from Mummy Sal and Admin Superhero Jenny.

It was always Emily’s dream to bake and create delicious treats full time and in June 2020 this became a reality. Since then the business has evolved and changed it’s form in an attempt to keep up with demand, trends and all the obstacles thrown at it by the Pandemic, but now in 2022 we see something brand new and exciting - Sass Bakes.

Sass is the nickname given to Emily by her partner Nick. In fact, it started off as Sasquatch but then he realised that was actually a big hairy mythical monster and shortened it to Sass pretty quickly!

We bake amazing treats that you would never find on the supermarket shelf. Think Willy Wonka but with sass!

We have a range of postal bakes, subscription boxes and collection only items.

We bake innovative and exciting products that tickle your tastebuds and make you say ‘WOW!’

All of our products are baked by hand in small batches in our 5 Star Food Hygeine rated kitchen.

Our Postal Bakes are delivered by courier and can be tracked and traced, with next day delivery optional. Please be aware that because our products are baked to order there will always be a 5-10 working day delay after ordering for us to bake, pack and deliver your order.

There are multiple order and delivery options available to you.

We have two weekly selection boxes, these can be posted nationwide or there is also the option to collect. The menu for these boxes changes weekly and the contents cannot be altered. These are available to order Thursday-Tuesday and will be posted the following Thursday.

We also have other staple bakes such as our Dippers, Giant Cookies, Build at Home Brownie Mountains and our Loaded Cookies. These are available to order at any time and will be posted usually within 5 working days of receiving your order.

All of our bakes are available for collection, please ensure you select the Local Pickup option at checkout.
